Most of us spend much of our lives working—yet we often wonder if it truly matters. Here in Silicon Valley, Christ-followers can feel isolated at work and often unsure how their work fits into God’s design and purpose.
Through our partnership with the Bay Area Center for Faith, Work & Tech, and the excellent resources they offer, we offer different cohorts seasonally to grow in integration of faith & work and to connect with others who can relate to the challenges we face at work. Next up: the Missional Vocational Pathway, or MVP.
MVP is designed from the Bay Area, targeted for the Bay Area and led in the Bay Area.
MVP Overview:
MVP is a holistic deep dive discipleship journey combining biblical and theological instruction, spiritual practices, cohort-based formation, and practical application.
In addition to extensive faith & work topics and practices, MVP addresses the Bay Area’s specific posture toward Christianity, the role of technology in every company and in our personal lives, and the diverse socioeconomic dynamics of a place where 100 different languages are spoken at home.
We will meet for three Thursdays evenings a month:
beginning October 8 and concluding on June 24. (The week off each month creates space in our crowded schedules, and we’ll also pause for a holiday break from Thanksgiving-New Year.)
from 6:30-8pm, over dinner and discussion, specifically based on that week’s content. (It’s a flipped classroom model—there are short videos/podcasts to watch during the week, a chapter or two of reading, and some spiritual formation practices to try. That means when we get together, we get to interact, connect, and learn from one another.)
We are opening up the first two modules (October 8, 15, 22 & November 5, 12, 19) before asking participants to commit to completing the cohort’s final six modules in 2027. Because we get it. It’s a lot. And it’s worthwhile. But we’ll let you try it out first before you decide if it can fit into your life right now.
Coming soon…

Typical Flow
-
We’ll be putting in a group food order so that you can choose your own dinner, and just show up after work. Take a few minutes to catch up and catch your breath.
-
We’ll discuss the week’s content and the content of our work weeks over dinner.
-
It’s a work night, so we’ll make sure we’re finished by 8pm each session so that you can reliably plan your evening and have time to rest and unwind.
