Want to connect your faith, work, and calling in a deeper way? Join the Missional Vocational Pathway (MVP), a nine-month cohort developed by the Bay Area Center for Faith, Work & Tech and led in local churches.

What is MVP?

What makes MVP special?

  • MVP creates space to space to step back from the day-to-day and ask bigger questions:

    • What is God doing through my work?

    • How has He shaped me?

    • What might faithfulness look like in this season?

  • Not just a generic view of work, but a personal understanding of how your specific vocation connects to God’s work in the world.

  • MVP helps you reflect on where you’ve been, how God has shaped you, and how He may be leading you in this season.

  • Participants experiment with spiritual practices that can be integrated into everyday work, helping faith become integral to your work week, as opposed to something separate from it.

  • The nine-month cohort experience culminates in a tangible project designed around your unique skills, calling, and sphere of influence.

When and where would we meet?

  • We will meet for three Thursdays evenings a month on our campus in Cupertino, beginning October 8 and concluding June 24 (The week off each month creates space in our crowded schedules, and we’ll also pause for a holiday break from Thanksgiving-New Year.)

  • from 6:30-8pm, over dinner and discussion, specifically based on that week’s content. (It’s a flipped classroom model—there are short videos/podcasts to watch during the week, a chapter or two of reading, and some spiritual formation practices to try. That means when we get together, we get to interact, connect, and learn from one another.)

I’m interested but it seems like a big commitment…

We get it. It’s a lot. And it’s worthwhile. But we’ll let you try it out first before you decide if it can fit into your life right now. If you’d like to try the first two modules before committing to the full experience, we can arrange that.

That said, drop-ins won’t work for this format, so you will need to be able to commit to the first six sessions:
