How do we hold onto hope in the midst of hard times, pain, brokenness, and injustice—both in our own lives, and in the world around us?
What would it mean to you to know that hope is also holding onto us?
This Easter Sunday, come hear about the hope that is found in the person of Jesus. Even in the places that seem the most hopeless, his empty tomb reminds us that even death doesn’t have to have the last word because Jesus is making all things new.
This worship service will include liturgical elements like prayers, creeds, a sermon, and communion. Don’t know what any of that means? Not to worry—we like to explain the historic elements in our service as we go, because in times when so much is changing, these ancient practices can help root and ground us, and connect us to others across time and space.
Our worship service will be followed by a community meal outdoors in the courtyard, and we’ll be hosting the Zaida’s Kitchen food truck! Zaida’s Kitchen serves authentic Mexican Oaxacan cuisine, is 100% gluten-free, and makes from-scratch non-GMO corn tortillas. Yum!
