Typically, our monthly service project is out in the city of Cupertino, as a way of serving our neighbors through the West Valley Community Services’ food pantry. This month, however, we’re partnering with Beautiful Day, a coalition of churches led by WestGate Church, to tackle service projects for neighbors even closer to home—sprucing up the playground and surrounding campus for the two schools that meet on our campus!

Participants must sign up here so that the project leads know how to organize the work! This four-hour shift on October 3 will focus on prep work for the following weekend, such as power washing a concrete wall that encloses the playground, and potentially priming and painting the wall as well. Landscaping prep work might also be included, time permitting. Signing up to serve on October 3 will help pave the way for us to rock and roll the following weekend!
